We are dedicated to reducing our carbon emissions by 95% this decade, transforming our operations to become the world's first low-carbon process refinery. Over the next five years, we plan to invest $1.2 billion to decarbonise our production processes, setting a global benchmark for low emission refineries and showcasing the pathway to decarbonise high-emitting industries.

EET Industrial Carbon Capture

EET Industrial Carbon Capture is setting the global benchmark for low emitting refineries and showcasing the path to decarbonise high emitting industries. Supporting industrial decarbonisation in the UK’s highest emitting region, EET Industrial Carbon Capture will remove 860,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide , playing a vital role in helping the UK achieve its net zero goals.

Benefitting from the closest proximity of any of the comparative carbon capture projects to the HyNet transport and storage pipeline, EET Industrial Carbon Capture matches these projects in the significant scale of emissions savings. Delivering value for money by being amongst the lowest operating costs per tonne of carbon dioxide emissions reduced and achieving competitive capital costs.
